Cremation Choices for Windsor North Households

Every family comes to cremation for its own reasons. Some want the simplest arrangement possible, while others want time together or a service afterward. Each of our packages is clearly priced, and you can add options only if they are meaningful to you.

Direct cremation

Our simplest option, starting at $695. It covers professional care, handling, and the cremation, with paperwork completed online and ashes returned to you by pickup, courier, or postal mail.

Cremation with Family Viewing

Before cremation, your family can gather privately with your loved one for a final visit. Many families find this short time together brings a sense of closure that a direct cremation alone does not.

Pre-Planning Services

Choosing cremation ahead of time takes a difficult decision off your family's shoulders. We help you select a package, note any wishes for your ashes, and set up financing if that helps.

Legally pronounced

A legal pronouncement of death must be declared. If your loved one dies inside of a medical or nursing facility or hospice the staff will handle getting this declaration made. If your loved one dies at home, you need to immediately contact the local emergency officials to come and take them to a hospital where they can be legally declared dead. This legal declaration must be made before the family can proceed with making any funeral arrangements or handling any legal affairs.

About Windsor North, Utah

Windsor North is a residential neighborhood on the north side of Orem, in ZIP code 84057, with close to 3,000 residents. It sits among Northridge, Windsor South, Sharon, and Bonneville, with quiet streets, well-kept homes, and a clear view of Mount Timpanogos. Long before the houses arrived, the Stratton and Gillman families farmed much of northeast Orem and tended large fruit orchards along the foothills. Most of the subdivisions here took shape in the 1980s and 1990s, the same years the WordPerfect business park rose nearby along 1200 North, a development many locals still point to as an early root of Utah's tech corridor.

Windsor Park, at 1356 North 200 West, is the neighborhood's gathering place, with a playground, lighted tennis courts, a reservable picnic pavilion, and a summer farmers market. Windsor Elementary sits on Main Street at 1315 North, and Timpanogos High School, home of the Timberwolves since it opened in 1996, is just east at 1450 North 200 East. State Street (US-89) and Main Street carry most local traffic, University Parkway and its shopping are a short drive south, and Timpanogos Regional Hospital lies just to the southwest.

Frequently asked questions

  • How much does direct cremation cost for a Windsor North family?

Visit just-cremation.com to review packages and start the process online, or call (801) 310-9700 at any time. After selecting a package, a staff member will reach out promptly to assist with forms and coordinate next steps.

  • What happens after we call you?

Yes. Transportation is provided within a 30-mile radius of the crematory, which includes Sunset Heights and the surrounding Orem area. A legal pronouncement of death must be in place before transport can begin, and staff will explain exactly what that involves for your specific situation.

  • How will we receive our loved one's ashes?

Whatever is easiest for your family. You can pick the ashes up at our Provo office, or we can return them to you by courier or by postal mail.

  • Can we see our loved one before the cremation takes place?

Yes. Just Cremations & Funerals offers funeral funding options for families who need help with costs. Details are available on the website, and staff is ready to walk you through what is available without pressure.

  • Are there keepsake options besides a traditional urn?

Yes. Some families choose a Parting Stone, which turns a portion of the ashes into smooth, hand-held stones. Others choose thumbprint jewelry or a memorial gem made with a small amount of ashes. We are happy to explain each option and help you decide.

  • Can I arrange my own cremation in advance?

Yes. Pre-planning lets you choose your cremation package, record your wishes, and discuss financing now. Jason and Candice Walker personally help with these plans so your family has clear direction when the time comes.
