Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Wesley Miles Peterson, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, at the age of 73, following a sudden illness.

Wesley was born on August 17, 1951, to Arden Miles Peterson and Nira E. Peterson. He married Lia Tems, the love of his life, on September 6, 2001.

Wesley was happiest outdoors. He loved boating, camping, and especially fishing. He was a hard worker and spent most of his life as a skilled diesel mechanic. Showing up for his family and supporting them in every way he could was important to Wesley and he added his own touch of humor along the way.

He is survived by his wife, Lia; stepdaughter, Vonnie (Jason) McLaughlan; son, Brian Peterson; sister, Sharon Baldwin; and brother, Gerald (Tonya) Peterson. Wesley also leaves behind five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren with another on the way, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ron (Cayra) Peterson; his brother-in-law, Garry Baldwin; and his granddaughter, Felicity Tresner.

Wesley will be remembered for his steady presence, his generosity, and the laughter he brought into the lives of those who loved him.
