Tracy Reid Bateman of Provo, Utah, passed away at home on January 4, 2024. Tracy was born April 2, 1954, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Glendon Hall Bateman and Dona Lee McKinlay Bateman. He graduated from Provo High School and served a tour of duty in the United States Army.
Tracy married Nancy Lee Clark in Provo, Utah, November 17, 1978. They made their home in Utah and welcomed two daughters, Amberly Jean (1979) and Colby Ann (1983).
During his life Tracy made a collection of IZMS, tidbits of thoughts that helped him through the storms he met, including: Most of us dont need a whole bunch of love at once but a steady supply helps and The worst part of dying is remembering all the opportunities you didnt take to tell those people you love good-bye.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Nancy, and both of his daughters, Amberly (1996) and Colby (2018) and his parents and his sister Beverly Susan Bateman Booth (1992), He is survived by three siblings and one grandson.
