Try to wear yellow in honor of Dorene
Dorene Harris Dickinson was born on July 9, 1959, in Utah to Alvin Leo Harris and Darlene Waters. She passed away August 9, 2026. She spent her life finding joy in the simple things—family, music, nature, and making memories with those she loved.
Dorene was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Darlene Waters and Alvin Leo Harris; her brother, Gary; and her sister, Diane.
She leaves behind her loving son, Jerry; her brother, Robert; her sister, Charlene; 4 grandchildren (Jaxton, Cameron, Aspen, Braylin), as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.
Dorene had a special love for piggies and dolphins, and she could often be found listening to her favorite old-school country music. While she enjoyed many songs over the years, her all-time favorite was "The Lazy Song" by Bruno Mars, which always brought a smile to her face.
She loved taking day trips through the canyons, spending peaceful afternoons by the lakes, and never missed an opportunity to enjoy a good parade. These simple adventures brought her happiness and created lasting memories with the people she loved.
During the final chapter of her journey, her great-great-nieces, Azaray and Bri, lovingly stayed by her side, helping in every way they could and keeping her company. Their love and companionship meant the world to her.
Dorene knew she was deeply loved by many, and her kindness, humor, and spirit will be remembered always. Though she will be greatly missed, the memories she leaves behind will continue to bring comfort and smiles to all who knew her.
