Our mother Carol Ellen Sparto, age 84 of Eagle Mountain Utah Passed away at home on May 23 2026.
Carol was born on May 06 1942, in Twin Falls Idaho, to Vernon and Avis Foster.
Carol was a good wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Her life was centered around music. She taught herself how to play the piano by ear when she was a young girl then went on to play the Organ and Accordion. She never learned to read music she always just played by ear. She also loved to sing. She also enjoyed doing genealogy and learning about her ancestors. Carol had the best fun personality. Whoever met her loved her. She made others laugh all the time. You couldn’t help to be happy around her and always have a good time. She was always so grateful for whatever you would give her even if it was from the dollar store. Carol was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She cherished her faith and served many callings which she always loved. She was lovingly taken care of by her Son Joe and daughter-in-law Patti in their home for her last weeks, which she was very grateful for.
She married Joseph Sparto in 1962 and they built a life together and raised their 6 children together Jeffery Sparto, Joseph Sparto, Pietro Sparto, Mary Kennedy, Angie Robinson and Anthony Sparto.
Those who knew Carol will remember her for her great sense of humor, her warm presence, and the way she made people feel happy and valued. Her kindness and strength left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Avis and Vernon Foster, her husband Joseph sparto, her sister Patti Sutter, her sons Jeffery Sparto and Pietro Sparto, her grandson Jeffery Sparto Jr; and many dear family members and friends.
Carol was survived by her son Joseph (Patti) Sparto, son Anthony Sparto, daughter Mary Kennedy, and daughter Angie (Doug ) Robinson, her sister Virginia McQuistion, her brother Don Foster, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her legacy for the love of music, kindness, sense of humor and strength will live on in all who knew and loved her.
